https://mcp.instadata.dev is a remote MCP server over streamable HTTP. Add it to any client, sign in with your Instadata account through OAuth, and the agent can read profiles, posts, reels, transcripts, comments, hashtags and ads. Tool calls are billed as normal API usage from the same balance.
Clients that connectThe capability tools cover the common reads. list_endpoints is free and calls nothing upstream; call_endpoint runs any path on the sheet.
OAuth where the client supports it, so nothing is pasted. Where a client only takes headers, use a key from the dashboard.
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL; OAuth sign-in with your account is built in.

One command. OAuth completes in the browser on first use.
claude mcp add --transport http instadata https://mcp.instadata.dev
Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode, then add the server URL. OAuth handles sign-in.

) n8n's MCP Client node takes the URL with a Bearer header. Make and Zapier call the REST API directly with an HTTP module; every endpoint is one GET.
https://mcp.instadata.dev Authorization: Bearer ik_live_... REST: GET https://api.instadata.dev/v1/instagram/channel-stats?handle=nasa
Connect once. The client fetches the tool list; each tool carries its parameters, its unit and its price in the description, so the model picks the right call without reading docs. A call costs what the REST endpoint costs; a failed call costs nothing.
Ask in plain words. "Transcribe the last three reels from @nasa" becomes one get_channel_posts and three get_transcript calls, with the request ids in the dashboard logs.
